My old 85 pickup needs to pass a New York State emissions test next week and I was wondering if there is any good gas additive which would help it pass..... any suggestions would be appreciated..... the truck drives fine but you know it's old and I guess just " passes too ...

My son has a 1994 Ranger and his check engine light comes on once in awhile. Is there a connection for a coder reader? I have a 96 vehicle (a different brand of truck, I won't mention here... lol) I use the reader on, and know very little about his truck.
