| Valve to Drain Fuel from Tanks | 27 Jan 2007 00:59 GMT | 10 |
I'd like to be able to easily drain fuel from my '92 F-150 in order to use the fuel in my generator and lawn mower. The truck gets very few miles and just sits there most of the year. I'd like to use its two tanks as backup fuel storage. I'd also like to periodically drain older ...

I have a 2000 Ford Explorer, and am having some troubles shifting from first to second, and second to third. The problem only occurs after a few minutes of driving. After the car has warmed up, it shifts hard from first to second and even harder from second to third. If I stop

I have a 96 Ranger, in which the air [hot/cold] have decided to die in the middle of winter. There is no air coming out of it what so ever, fan does not come on. When I switch the control from "off' to let say the "vents/feet", I could hear the clutch being engaged on the A/C

| Aftermarket radio for 99 Ford Ranger / Mazda B2500 | 23 Jan 2007 18:28 GMT | 11 |
Question: I'm looking to add an aftermarket in-dash radio to my 99 Mazda B2500 (cosmetically identical to 99 Ford Ranger), and can't find any straight answer as to what mounting my dash can handle. It appears that it can take a "double DIN" mounting radio, which is the standard

I bought a 1981 f100 and the engine runs good, but there is sooo much buildup in the engine. I am looking for something to "clean" the inside. I do not what to take the engine apart. I have heard everything from off the shelf cleaners to adding diesel to the oil. I have some ...

| Misfiring at 40-50 mph+ (Ford Tech here's a challenge...) | 23 Jan 2007 01:48 GMT | 10 |
I think the PCM problems / Wiring harness issues are continuing. It seems like I'm getting some mistimed firing at 40-50 mph or higher. Specifically when I apply the gas pedal at these speeds...Maybe the problem is occuring at lower speeds, but I can't feel it.

I have a 98 ranger XLT, about 92k miles, and recently when I turn on the fan/defrost, a loud "clicking" noise is haerd. Almost like when you used to put a baseball card in the spokes of your bike tires, or like a leaf is stuck in there. As I turn up the fan, the vibrating

I have a question that concerns the limited-slip rear-end in my 2001 Ranger, which has the F6 axle code on the sticker on the drivers side door post. This truck is equipped with the 3L V6 and the 5 speed standard transmission, and currently has 145,000 KM on the odometer.

| 4WD really? | 22 Jan 2007 04:13 GMT | 49 |
I have an '87 F-150 4X4. (Just got in in September.) Last weekend I got it into the mud pretty good, locked the hubs, and shifted into 4H. Seems that the right rear tire just continued to spin in the mud. Front wheels did their work but it seemed like there was no power to the left

I've recently installed a 12V 100 AH AGM deep cycle battery in one of the storage lockers of my 2001 F-550 7.3L PSD truck. The purpose of the battery is to power small tools and appliances (read coolers and boom boxes), and recharge tool batteries when we're in out-of-the-way ...
