One more time, one more question... then I'll leave you guys alone. On this '87 F-150 I bought last fall there are manual hubs, a 4 speed, and a transfer case shifter. Transmission and shifter seem to work fine. The hubs are easy to switch in and out of "Free" and "Lock"

I am looking to buy a 1999 F350 2wd crew cab long box with the 7.3l diesel and drive expedited freight hauling a dual axle trailer. The trailers max load could be only 5000 lbs. I am considering a 3.42 gear to improve mpg. Can any one tell me their mpg experience?

| Still need help with dome light on Expedition | 14 Feb 2007 02:04 GMT | 14 |
My dome light(s) no workie. They work fine with the ceiling switches but don't come on when I open the door-any door. I'm wondering if the dome light has a relay and it's location. Since the problem is not with a single door I'm suspecting the problem is elsewhere.

| REAR Brake lights stay on: 2002 Windstar HELP? | 12 Feb 2007 02:25 GMT | 2 |
Odd problem. It appears that occaisionally the rear brake lights stay on after turning off the engine and removing the keys. My first thought is the switch that must be near the actual brake pedal in the Windstar.

I have great front seats except for the fold up/down back for the center jump seat. It is totally trashed. I bought a cover for it but find that I'll probably have to remove the old cover completely to get the new one on. Hence, it I have to pull the back out I might as well ...

| F-150 SuperCrew 2001: Rear End | 09 Feb 2007 03:55 GMT | 3 |
Is there something wrong with my rear end? I've been losing traction from standing starts in even the slightest wet ground conditions; wasn't a problem in the past. It's especially jumpy when turning from a standing start.

My 95 Ranger has a problem that 1 mechanic and 1 transmission specialist has not been able to figure it out. The Ranger is a '95, with 4L V6, and 4WD with automatic transmission. Under certain driving conditions, the transmission seems to go into neutral for no reason, the engine ...
