How do I clear, PERMANENTLY, the indicator to change engine oil?
I have gotten an oil change and the indicator shows every time
I start the vehicle. I have to press the reset button every time.

Any idea where to locate that thing, I bought this vehicle used and it

I have a 1986 Ranger 4x4, 2.9L, with Dual Tanks.  I have replaced the
fuel pump on the rail but I cant find the fuel filter.  Does anyone
know where it is?  There is a tank selector switch upstream of the
pump but nothing that looks like a fuel filter.

I dont have a manual for this vehicle yet.
The transmission selector drops from park into reverse without having
to pull it torward you. Is this fixable on the column or do I need to
order a replacement used column?

Is there a recommended replacement time for this filter? The truck has
96,000 miles.
