93 Ranger 3.0 coolant leak at back of engine15 Jul 2007 22:34 GMT2
Have a 93 Splash with 3.0 V6. Engine has about 100,000 miles.
Lately I noticed water dripping from the area where the tranny and engine
meet. So I refilled the radiator, started it up, popped the hood.  With a
flashlight, looking down from under the hood, near the rear of the engine ...

novice I am, and knowing that nothing is ever as easy to ...

Hi again,
took the "new' truck to its first job yesterday, helping a friend
clean out a guy's stash of old car parts.  No problems at all until I
got to my first stop, when I shut the truck down it puked coolant
89 F150 manual transmission noise09 Jul 2007 03:44 GMT4
The truck is an '89 F150 4WD with 302 and a 5-speed manual
transmission.  I'm assuming it is the Mazda tranny (Mazda M-50D, would
this be R1 or  R2?), since I did find a picture of the ZF-5 unit and
that does not look right.  Mine doesn't sound like the typical Mazda

1995 Ford F150 6 cylinder 4.9L
My temperature gauge on the dash has been stuck on COLD for about a year.
The heater produces hot air no problem.  I changed the thermostat anyway,
but it didn't make any difference. So when my mechanic was doing some other

I am looking to put on the thinnest whitewall tires I can. And I would
like the rear tires to be larger diameter than the front to get a

1999 F250 5.4l Computer Not Ready01 Jul 2007 15:42 GMT1
I have driven my F250 for about 50 miles and the ECU reads "Not Ready"
on my Scan Gauge.  I also an intermittent analog instrument cluster.
I took the cluster apart and cannot find any bad solder joints, so I am
using the San Gauge to read my speed, water temp, voltage, etc.
