...an apparent fire risk to be fixed by the installation of a fusible link...I got my letter yesterday. Used vehicle buyers may wish to investigate. Recall #05s28....the dealer can tell you by your VIN if repair is needed.

I have been out of town and my son says the transmission on my 2000 F150 Ford truck sometimes will not shift properly. It will run up to 4000 rpm's, and will not shift until letting off the gas a little. The fluid seems fine. What is the likely problem?

Not a bad little truck for the year. I've got 2 issues I hope someone can help with. First is the bad fuel economy. I'm lucky to get 19-20 mpg on the highway and 14-15 mpg in city. Tire pressue is fine, all fluids, belts

And couldn't find where this problem had been addresses before... 2000 E-150 van... the gas pedal is hard to push...it sticks when taking off so you have to kind of tap it a little...to get going, it's fine once you are moving...
