Recently in the early morning (3am) my horn went off with
no one in the truck.  I don't have a alarm system, and when I got out to the
truck the horn quit.  But now the horn does not work at all, and my question

suggested it was the throttle body blades sticking, you nailed it dead.
I gave it a cleaning...with the help of my daughter who was able to fit her
hands in there a little better than I, and take off is now ...

...an apparent fire risk to be fixed by the installation of a fusible
link...I got my letter yesterday.
Used vehicle buyers may wish to investigate. Recall #05s28....the dealer can
tell you by your VIN if repair is needed.

Water pump is leaking. Is this a do it yourself job? Or better left to a
Pro? Anyone tackle this project before? Any tips if I decide to do it

I have a 1999 F-250 with a 7.3l turbo.  I need to know where the speed
sensor is located on this truck.  I know it
is on the transmission, but exactly where?

I have a 2005 Ranger and this morning I was looking at how to remove
the 5 speed shift knob, but was not able to figure it out. I want to
add a cue ball like I have on my Mustang.

I'm thinking about buying a used one, '99 up to around '05. Haven't decided
on what year yet.
Anyone know of any good year / bad year, what year to stay away from and
that sort of thing?

I have the Haynes manual and it looks fairly easy...anything to watch
out for when doing ?

I have been out of town and my son says the transmission on my 2000
F150 Ford truck sometimes will not shift properly. It will run up to
4000 rpm's, and will not shift until letting off the gas a little. The
fluid seems fine. What is the likely problem?

Not a bad little truck for the year. I've got 2 issues I hope someone
can help with.
First is the bad fuel economy. I'm lucky to get 19-20 mpg on the
highway and 14-15 mpg in city. Tire pressue is fine, all fluids, belts

And couldn't find where this problem had been addresses before...
2000 E-150 van... the gas pedal is hard to push...it sticks when taking off
so you have to kind of tap it a little...to get going, it's fine once you
are moving...

does anyone make a pressure bleeder adapter for the master cylinder
reservoir on my '93 F-150?  If so, where can I buy it?
