I'm looking for info from experienced trailer drivers.
My boyfriend and I will be driving accross Canada (MTL to Vancouver)
through the Rockies with his Ford Ranger (4.0L V6, 4x4, manual trans.
regular cab) hauling a 14' trailer weighing approx. 3700 lbs (double
clean ISV on '93 4.9?05 Aug 2007 15:00 GMT1
I think I've finally got my '93 in mostly decent shape, except the ISV
seems sluggish to respond, the engine will die or almost die on the
first start of the day.  Ive tried cleaning it by spraying it while it
is in place, that hasn't helped much.  Is removing it to clean worth ...

Has anyone had to remove their truck cab to replace the spark plugs?
This is the strangest way I have ever seen to replace spark plugs.
If it is this bad...just bite the bullet and take it to the dealer.
If my local mechanic was to tell me he had to do this I would RUN!

Two days ago, I got my truck back from the body shop where
the left rear quarter panel, and fuel tank were replaced.
Today I discover that I have no tail lights, stop lights, backup lights,
or turn signals, on the rear. Does anyone have any ideas on where to

They are the foldable kind and are either stainless steel or alluminum.
I was going to put them on a 91 but sold the truck.  Please email me if
you need new some new mirrors.  :)
