not taken delivery upon) a diesel F250 4x4 that has a remote entry
unit only. (No remote start)
Replace terminals vs. battery cables?14 Nov 2007 14:49 GMT5
My batter terminal clamps are in rough shape.  The positive terminal
appears to be screwed onto the cable; the negative is crimped.  Both
cables look like they have seen better days, but could go a while.
Should I expect to replace the cables, or just the terminals?  Cables

I have a '96 F150 2WD, 4.9L which I bought used about a year ago.  I
bought a drive train warranty with it, so I make a point of getting
documented oil changes.  On the most recent visit, they verbally noted
the coolant was "very low" and indicated "low pts" on their report.  I
Fuel Pump Fuse..Where is it?12 Nov 2007 00:46 GMT5
My 1989 F-150 has no power to the fuel pump. A test light, and volt
meter both confirm this. I've replaced the fuel pump relay, and my
Haynes manual mentions a fuel pump fuse. Nothing in the fuse block has
anything to do with the fuel system. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Ignition Switch Actuator -- 89 F150 w/ Tilt Wheel10 Nov 2007 23:42 GMT1
How do I get the new one in?  I took the column apart enough to get
the broken one out, but (being broken) it came out easier than the
(bigger) new one is going in.  Do I need to take the tilt wheel
mechanism apart at the pivot somehow, or is there a secret angle or
Dim Instrument panel lights09 Nov 2007 16:37 GMT4

FUll sized pickup w/ 8' bed questions08 Nov 2007 04:42 GMT28
I need to haul 4x8 foot sheets of rigid plastic material for my small
business. As much as I like my Ranger, I have to install a platform, part of
which sets on the lowered tailgate, and I can handle this plus the odd
51x100" sizes.

The engine stalls and I'm left sitting.  When I start it up it idles up just
fine, but when I shift it into drive it stalls out completely.  If someone
has any ideas how to fix this I'll be grateful. ...

On the way to the water pump06 Nov 2007 00:52 GMT2
Any tricks to disconnecting the misfire sensor connector?  The
alternator is seriously in my way to get at it.  Funny the shop manual
has neglected to show the latter - no doubt for clarity ;)
Anyway, the wiring harness will be in my way unless I detach it, or
