Replacing most rear tail-pipe hanger on 98' B400027 Oct 2008 01:11 GMT1
The rubber donut appears sandwhiched between a pressed metal bracket
held
to the under frame via a nut. Is the hanger sold as one piece (rubber
and metal bracket combined) ? I can't see where I would separate the
Fuel Filter23 Oct 2008 14:23 GMT-
It's time to replace the fuel filter on my 2006 Ranger but I've never
seen fuel line connectors like it has.  Since the fuel line ends are
shaped like a nut, do they unscrew or do I need a special tool?
It's a 2.3L, 4-cyl.

I have a 2002 E350 XLT, and it has in-door central locking. But the
keys I have are new cut and there is no remote. How can I tell if I
have the remote entry module installed - can you see it? Manual says
it would be in the drivers side B-pillar, but I can't see anything

I am intermittently smelling gas in the cab of my 1996 4.9L 2wd F-150.
The first few times it happened, there was another explanation, but it
almost has to be from my truck.  I am no expert, but the closest thing I
can think of was a long time ago when a friend of mine started ...

How to adjust tension on Serpentine Belt15 Oct 2008 19:06 GMT5
1990 F150 with 302 engine.
It has that serpentine belt and I changed the water pump so I had to
unbolt the tensioner to get it out of my way.  Now I wonder how to
adjust the tension and how tight to make it.

I am trying to find out what model Ford truck and what year 18" tires

1996 F-150 fuel pump test12 Oct 2008 16:46 GMT4
I managed to disconnect (without breaking them<g>) things I suspected
might have been the diagnostic connectors mentioned in Haynes, and they
look nothing like the illustrations.  Some more searching revealed a
