got a '93 F-150. Am considering doing the following: - replacing the current under-the-rail bed liner with a rubber mat and tailgate mat. I don't like bedliners, and I'm thinking that a mat would provide better resistance to cargo slipping all around.

I have a '91 Explorer and it's due for a smog test. They now have included a vapor recovery system test. Can anyone tell me what the test is comprised of? Or how I can determine beforehand if it will probably pass? I heard they pressurize the fuel system but I don't know at what ...

I think the bearing is going. It is squeaking but when I oil it, the squeaking stops. Should I replace it? Any problem changing these things out? Bob

My neighbor has a 200 Ford Excursion, with on demand 4WD (which he never uses). His passenger rear wheel seems to heat up WAY too much! He can't touch the wheel after about 15-20 minutes of driving. Sorry, I can't tell you if its only highway or both highway and around town

Looks as if the rubber is sandwhiched between a metal bracket mounted via 1 nut to the frame. Is the rubber and bracket all one piece ?
