| tires? | 31 Dec 2008 15:48 GMT | 19 |
Which would your choice be for an all-around tire for a 2WD F-150 (might see occasional snow) I am looking on the tire rack site and it seems to be a choice between the Michelin LTX M/S ($105 each) and the Yokohama Geolandar H/T-S G051 ($85 each) both seem to rate well, are the

| E4OD Fluid Loss?? | 28 Dec 2008 23:35 GMT | 8 |
I have a '90 E150 with E4OD Tranny. A few nights ago I got caught in a 1 1/2 hour crawling traffic jam. Lots of stop & go, and occasionally a shift into 2nd gear. The next morning the van would not go into gear.

Window is closed tight and outside seal around the window looks good and flush to the body. Could I get water in the area of the third brake light ? Or coud the "rain molding" rear of the door be cracked under ?

| Damned Republican drivers | 26 Dec 2008 20:02 GMT | 6 |
I really get tired of the stupid reckless driving that comes from people with those damned yellow ribbon decals (republican pukes). Everytime I see a good old fat boy driving a pickup with trash blowing out from the back and those yellow ribbon decals I want to take out my

| Anyone ever try to fix a heat/AC swtich (in dash) | 20 Dec 2008 18:54 GMT | 10 |
The switch on my 98 Ranger to control heat, defroster, AC has been on the way out for a while - the only setting that worked was high. It has now died completely, even high does not work. I'm thinking I'd like to fix it as inexpensively as possible, what with the holidays

| 10W40 for 300 straight six? | 20 Dec 2008 00:02 GMT | 13 |
'93 F-150, 300/E4OD. Just changed the oil today. I believe it had some flavor of 10W30 in it before (last oil change was by mechanic; I paid him to replace oil pan gasket because I was too lazy to do it myself.) This time I used 10W40 Castrol GTX and a Purolator filter. ...

| 2X4 to 4X4 conversion | 18 Dec 2008 02:16 GMT | 4 |
Hello... I'm thinking of converting a 1996 F-150 from 2X4 to 4X4. I want to use the components from my 1987 F-150 to do it. My service manual set is for model years 1987 thru 1996, so I am hoping that no changes were made in the frames in those years, and I can just

Had a problem with my F-250. The rear tank rusted out. I tried to siphon the fuel out of the rear tank and run off the front tank, but the front tank fuel pump didn't seem to work. But the truck ran fine off the rear tank when the tank switch was set to "Rear", and the engine

Hello group, I have a friend who has a 1999 Ranger 4.0L 4WD. The other day when he tried to use the 4wd, it wasn't working. He would turn the knob and the light would come on after a second but the front wheels weren't engaging. Granted
