98' B4000 4x2 5spd hard to shift 1st / reverse25 Nov 2009 13:56 GMT7
Clutch was replaced last year as was master and slave on clutch. Now
it is hard to shift (does not grind) into 1st and reverse. Clutch
travel is good and has take up a few inches from the floor.
Is there and adjustment / replacement parts under the shifter boot

My wrinkly old Ranger (2002 V6 4.0 SuperCab) has had problems coming
out of 4WD-Low since I got it. Sometimes, it takes 10 minutes of
shifting, turning the dash swithch back and forth, forward-reverse...
nothing. But after a while, it has always returned to normal 4WD and

Hopefully someone may have an idea what is going on...
It has happened several times in the past but not when taken to
dealership (no error codes showed up).  Basically this happens:
We go to start truck and the odometer doesn't light up, theft light

I can't seem to find it again, but the other day I saw a Pro Comp rim
(15x10 4"bs) that had both the 5x5.5 (ford) and 5x5 (chevy) bolt
patterns. I found this to be odd, in that most universal  5 bolt
patterns cover 4.5 and 5,  and not 5 and 5.5. Which totally surprises

Has anyone else experienced this problem?  Whenever I get gas for my
2006 4 cylinder Ranger, the check engine light comes on shortly after
filling the tank to half-full.  I then disconnect the battery cable to
reset the light and all is well.  I've replaced the gas cap twice.  ...

my 92 f-150 is blowing oil out the dip stick any ideas what could be
causing this problem
