My son's the old Timing Belt broke.  We have all the parts removed
except the one belt guide and sprocket to the left of the crankshaft
sprocket.  they are held on by one bolt we can not get this bolt busted ...

I have an 89 Taurus 3.0L with about 82K miles on it.  There is a terrible
knocking on acceleration as well as once the car is up to speed.  It does
not happen at idle.  Higher octane gas makes no difference.
Any suggestions on where to look?

Boy talk about problems! My recently purchased SHO needed a new tie rod end,
which was replaced. They are also telling me that we need to either install
a new plate to mount the struts to so they can align it, or I have to
replace the struts and springs. Has anyone heard of this ...

I just put in a new battery into my 1990 Ford Taurus.  Now the "check
engine" light comes on.  Any ideas?  Is there a way to read the codes with
a code reader?

I know its July, but I am looking for winter wheels for my 03 GM, seems the
build date is important because of suspension changes. I have the revised model
and the earlier build date wheels won't fit.... I checked tire rack and they
aren't there yet on the wheels.. The dealer wants ...

I can't get excited about the 500.  I keep looking for the return of the
victoria (not the curttent crop of crown vics), fairlane, or galaxie.
I really like the looks of the 49er, and assume it would have a good
power plant, and leg room.
