How do I open the goddammed bonnet??

I need to remove the front door panels in order to access the power
door lock motors. I find two screws at the bottom of the panel, and
when those are removed, the panel appears to move slightly upward in
order to release one or more plastic hooks which latch into the door.

Recently, the turn signal on my car has begun to work only intermittently.

The key fob stopped opening the doors and alarm, the alarm cannot be
turned off with the key in the door either, and the engine will NOT
