Tachometer Issue07 Aug 2004 06:29 GMT1
I recently purchased a 93 Mustang GT. The tachometer is at 0 when I turn the
key on. After I start the engine, it is normal, at about 900 rpms, and after
5 seconds it moves up to 3500 rpms. It stays there unless I rev the engine
past 3.5k or if i use my power windows, hazzards, A/C, ...
How do you remove cowl covering to get to wiper linkage?06 Aug 2004 13:24 GMT1
Looking at the hood from the outside of the van, right under the wipers
is a black body trim piece. I have to take the wipers off to get the
trim piece off but I can't figure out how to remove the clips that
hold that cowl cover on. It has 11 clips of some sort holding it on.
Taurus versus Accord economics06 Aug 2004 11:57 GMT2
I am thinking about getting a used 2003 Taurus or Accord.
The difference for a roughly equivalent model is around 8,000 cheaper
for the Taurus, maybe even more. The Taurus has a high rate of depreciation
and the Accord low depreciation.

wreaking yard acted just like mine. If you pull on them sharply the
belt does not stop.
Ford Ranger CD player05 Aug 2004 15:54 GMT1
I have just purchased a 1996 Ford Ranger and would like to replace the
factory tape player w/ a (possibly) factory CD player. What year(s) CD
player would fit this truck? They all look the same (early 90s up to 2000s)
and was wondering if there are any that possibly will not work. ...
1977 LTD II Fuel Sending Unit05 Aug 2004 11:06 GMT7
We just inherited a 1977 LTD II and need to replace the fuel sending unit.
But I'm not finding this part anywhere.  Is it perhaps listed by some other
name...or is it sold as part of the fuel pump assembly or something?
Any help would be appreciated.

Does anyone know what setting you should put your voltmeter on ?  Is it on
OHM, ACV, or DCV ?  Also, what numbers: 500, 250, or 10?  The repair manual
is unclear?  Furthermore, my number 2 pin does not correspond with the one
in the manual or on the web site:

Auxillary lighting in my van04 Aug 2004 13:26 GMT7
