I recently purchased a 93 Mustang GT. The tachometer is at 0 when I turn the key on. After I start the engine, it is normal, at about 900 rpms, and after 5 seconds it moves up to 3500 rpms. It stays there unless I rev the engine past 3.5k or if i use my power windows, hazzards, A/C, ...

Looking at the hood from the outside of the van,right under the wipers is a black body trim piece. I have to take the wipers off to get the trim piece off but I can't figure out how to remove the clips that hold that cowl cover on. It has 11 clips of some sort holding it on.

I am thinking about getting a used 2003 Taurus or Accord. The difference for a roughly equivalent model is around 8,000 cheaper for the Taurus, maybe even more. The Taurus has a high rate of depreciation and the Accord low depreciation.

I have a 97 escort the air doesnt work i am getting a P1461 A/c pressure sensor circuit low input code from the computer. I have power at the compressor and if i jump the compresseor to the battery it will not engage. Is the compressor bad? what should i look for on the low input

I have an 87 ford ranger. The shoulder seat belts don't activate if I give them a quick tug. All of the Ford seat belts I tried at the wreaking yard acted just like mine. If you pull on them sharply the belt does not stop.

We just inherited a 1977 LTD II and need to replace the fuel sending unit. But I'm not finding this part anywhere. Is it perhaps listed by some other name...or is it sold as part of the fuel pump assembly or something? Any help would be appreciated.

Does anyone know what setting you should put your voltmeter on ? Is it on OHM, ACV, or DCV ? Also, what numbers: 500, 250, or 10? The repair manual is unclear? Furthermore, my number 2 pin does not correspond with the one in the manual or on the web site:
