My A/C is almost on empty and I've heard that the old systems cannot be refilled due to environmental laws. I've been told that I have to replace the whole system, while another person told me I can buy a legal refill kit.

Short version: does the orientation of the PCV valve matter? They seem to be installed within a few degrees of vertical in nearly all OEM applications. I would like to mount one horizontally... will the valve still operate correctly? Will any problems result?

97 vic 4.6L w code engine. does this have 2 ect on it? intake has 2 sensors in front on same water passage. 1 on drivers side and 1 on pass side next to gauge sending unit. which one is the ect? getting a lot of spark knock with no codes stored/visible. dealer suggested
