The power lock trips and the mechanism turns over with the use of the key but the hatch refuses to open. I'm at a loss for ideas short of using the Jaws of Life on it. Thanks for your consideration.

I have a 97 LX T Brd. with 3.8 (6) Cyl. Engine with 12,050 miles since new. Deliveried on 11/11/97. Battery appears to be OK but the sight hydrometer has red ball.

A friend had two engines stored in a garage for some time. One is basically a complete engine, the other is a block and heads. The complete engine has a points distributor. At this time, the only casting number I can locate is on the intake manifold: C60E 8425A.

The air bag light in my 1991 Grand Marquis is flashing - 9 flashes then a pause, 9 nine more flashes and so on. My research indicates that this code means that the centre air bag sensor is faulty. My Ford dealer reached the same conclusion after diagnostic testing.
