2001 Ranger Dash Light10 Oct 2004 22:13 GMT1
Got a 2001 Ranger that has a blown dash light (the one on the left side).  I
looked up under and behind the dash and don't really see any way to reach up
there to find the light cluster.  Is this something that has to be changed
by removing the two sections of the dash itself?
98 Taurus rear humming noise10 Oct 2004 21:26 GMT13
My 98 Taurus recently started making a humming noise at and above 40 mph.
It sounded like it was coming from the pass side, so I replaced the hub with
one I bought from Murrys.
I took it back on the e-way, and it still is there. It still sounds like it

Do I need a new transmission?  Or a secnd Lucas Conditioner treatment?10 Oct 2004 14:38 GMT6
I have a ford Escort 2001, automatic (38,000 miles).    two weeks ago I
started having problems with it.   On occasion when I press the gas,  it
would not go in gear.    So I had a mechanic (non licensed) friend of mine,
look at it.   He changed the transmission fluid, the filter ...

connects to the hot/cold adjustment switch does not have ...
Possible Transmission Issues, 88 Mercury Grand Marquis10 Oct 2004 14:05 GMT4
Yeah it's an old car, so of course if there are transmissions issues that
shouldn't be a surprise due to its age.
Anyway.
It has about 150,000 miles on it, the behavior I've noticed is this.
Vulcan Sticky Throttle09 Oct 2004 18:59 GMT1
I've narrowed down a throttle which won't return to idle unless I let it
snap back to idle to a sticky throttle.  Does anybody know what internally
to the throttle that might be causing it to stick once the underhood temp
reaches 200F?  The vehicle is an 86 Mercury Sable 3.0.  ...

I used to own an '82 camaro (when I was young and stupid, now I have a

Winter safe driving FWD/RWD Police car!08 Oct 2004 22:58 GMT18
If you are talking to people who own FWD vehicle and search on internet,
everyone would said FWD is better than RWD in term of road safety for
yourself or other people around you.  However a few people would argue the
other way.  I have FWD and had RWD.  myself I said FWD is better ...
Sierra 1.6 CL engine problems! need help!08 Oct 2004 16:20 GMT3
Hi, I'm having a problem with my sierra's engine. It is a 1.6L
non-injection, non-turbo engine. It has a dual carburator. I haven't used
it since last year because I noticed that it has a verry high fulel
consumption. Where do I have to start looking for the problem? Thanks.
