I've got a 99 F250 superduty and would like to upgrade to extendable towing
mirrors but have been unable to find any that suit me.
Currently on ebay there are several different vendors offering powered mirrors
which will fit but I don't know if I can just install the powered ...

I have a new 2004 Ford Escape, with the Duratec V6 3.0L.  Currently
the vehicle has 1,000 miles on it, and I would like to change the oil

1998 Ford Escort Dragging Brake08 Nov 2004 22:48 GMT2
I know everyone is busy with worries about the election, but hopefully you
can help me help someone with an ailing blue oval.
I've got a 1998 Ford Escort LX with a dragging passenger side rear brake.
It's a drum brake.  With the rear of the car in the air, I can easily spin

service engine soon light08 Nov 2004 16:38 GMT9
I just had the service engine soon light come on with a tank of bad
gas in my 99 expedition with the 4.6 V8.  I put in 6 gallons of
premium gas from another station which helped with the bad running
and dieing during cold starts.
Climate control mode selector on Fords08 Nov 2004 03:41 GMT1
Do all Ford vehicles "leak" air to the floor vents when the climate control
selector is set to dash outlet?
Every Ford I've ever owned lets air leak through to the floor vents when the
selector is set to dash outlet.  It's a absolutely aggravating thing to have

Air Bag Suspension in Mercury07 Nov 2004 20:33 GMT2
I recently acquired an 89 Mercury Grand Marquis Colony Park.  It has the
auto load-leveling suspension.  I've been told that it uses air bags of some
sort.  Do these air bags replace the springs?  The air pump for them seems
to be cycling frequently.  I'm assuming that means ...
88 t-bird idles up, then dies07 Nov 2004 18:38 GMT1
I have a 88 t-bird 5 ltr. 302  On a cold start only, it will try to run
up to fast idle, shakes a bit, and then dies. Then by restarting it,
with no problem, it will run fine after that.  I did a much needed tune
up; plugs, wires, cap & rotor. Could  the egr valve cause this? Kinda

Original equipment CD add-on for 95 Taurus/Sable07 Nov 2004 01:38 GMT1
I want to add a factory-original CD player to a 95 Sable that I bought from
an online junkyard.  Unfortunately, they cut the cables rather than
unplugging and including them.  Can anyone tell me how these are wired?
Since the volume is controlled via the radio, I presume that ...
1986 LTD II06 Nov 2004 23:30 GMT6
I have acquired this car, not new, but its in fairly good shape to be as
old as it is.  It's a 3.8 TBI and I have this problem where it won't start
when its hot.  I'll explain, the car will fire right up when it is cold,
then from the time it cranks you can drive it just about ...

Hi, This past week, my 351-C suddenly overheated (apparently the
