A simple google search gets you lots of ideas on cleaning the MAF. But there's ALSO a lot of ignorance about it! Use rubbing alcohol, cheap and leaves NO residue. DO NOT USE WINDEX or any spray automotive degreaser! Dont use "tuner/contact cleaner" may or may not

I've noticed when "hitting" the throttle from a standing start, or when going up a hill in O/D (at low RPMs) the engine makes a "rattling" noise. at low RPMs not under load (flat pavement), or at idle it's quiet. It only makes the noise under load at low rpms. I'm guessing this is ...

I read a few times in here of people whose water pump went out and their heads were messed up... I know on the 88 it has been overheated a few times due to bad water pump/bad radiator/etc.

97 Taurus GL sedan, 3.0liter Vulcan, 4 wheel disc brakes. ~120,000miles. Recent work done: Both front and rear brakes (pads and rotors, caliper service) changed about 3000 miles ago. OEM pads and rotors.

The chiltons manual and ford mechanics say the fan control module, a unit which measures about 5 inches by 9 inches or so, is located in the left front fender. We have torn everything out of there and were not able to find it ... anyone know where it is located?

My daughters 93 Taurus power driver seat no longer goes forward or backwards. When you push the switch back and forth to initiate movement it just makes a wirrring sound along with a clicking noise. Every other movement works except front and back.
