| Damn tranny blew up in my E-350 | 20 Nov 2004 00:25 GMT | 2 |
The damn tranny blew up in my E-350 at only 286,000 miles. Guess Ford still can't build things to last. At least the V-10 in it was still going strong. --

| Oil Usage | 18 Nov 2004 04:34 GMT | 6 |
I have a 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis with the 5.0 and AOD, of course. It has 209,000+ miles. While it still runs great and shifts firmly, it does use quite a bit of oil, about a quart every 400-500 miles. I wish it was a leak, but it's not.
