My car keeps going dead while im driving. It runs great other than this one problem. It will start right back up but goes dead again when it is put back in drive. It useualy does this twice before it starts and stays running, untill the next time it happens. please help

I took my 89 Taurus SHO to the car wash last week. It has the electronic controlled style heating A/C system. I have used this car wash before many times. After exiting the car wash on the way home I had water dripping from the seam at the bottom of the heater case.
