Does anybody know offhand which way makes the trunk open more forcefully? There are three slotted adjustors in the trunk under a hell of a lot of tension. If I move the arm into one of the slots closer to the trunk floor, will it get stronger or weaker?

Have an '01 Escape V6 with automatic transmision problems. Happened soon after changing transmision fluid. Hard engagement from rest, rough 1-2 shift as well. 2-3 and 3-4 shifts ok. 70,000 miles. Dealer service dept. says 'probably an internal seal' whatever that means. Changed

Seems that the fuel pump on my 92 F150 isn't turning on. I don't hear it turn on when I turn the key to the on position. The engine BARELY gets enough fuel to start and dowsn;t have enough to go anywhere. I replaced the fuel pump a year ago, no problems since then. Is there a

Just bought a 2000 cougar, every tank of gas so far when it gets past 1/2 tank,I have a couple of events where it starts to sputter and barely run ,then straightens out and does alright.53,000 miles, Fuel pump? Fuel filter? Advice please and Thank You.

I have an '86 Bronco II. The heater fan only runs on the "High" switch position. I have taken the switch out and checked for continuity across poles at each switch position and there is continuity between one pole (common?)
