it was usually at a low speed (or from a stop), when the veh was turned
hard to go around a corner, the engine would stall (I know that the

Windshield Wiper Spring18 Jan 2005 13:42 GMT3
I have a 1995 Ford Crown Victoria LX. The winshield wiper does not do a good

replaced both the wiper blade and its holder to no avail. I suspected the
pressure of the blade against the windshield might be a ...

I have a 96 Lincoln Mark 8.  I don't care for my current headlights, which
are metal halide bluelights.
My question:  Is it possible to convert them over to regular halogen
headlights.  If so, how would I go about this?
97 Taurus Throttle Sticks17 Jan 2005 17:46 GMT2
I have a 1997 Taurus 3.0 liter 12 valve V6 with 110,000.  I have trouble
when the car is cold with the throttle sticking closed. It will release by
pushing on the throttle but causes the car to lurch forward when it
releases.  When the car is warm it does not stick.

88 taurus wont start17 Jan 2005 14:39 GMT2
In fact, it does nothing at all when ignition is turned. Doesn't even
try to turn over. Can't hear a fuel pump or starter solenoid clicking.
Nothing at all.
Background info: Just bought it with 90,000 miles. Drove to nearest gas
Changing Headlights on 2000 Taurus17 Jan 2005 13:36 GMT9
I bought some Silverstar headlights today but when I opened the hood, I don't
see any real way to get to the old headlamps.  The Haynes manual shows something
that looks like my old '89 Taurus but bears no resemblance to what I see.  At
the least, it looks like the battery needs ...
Windstar ABS17 Jan 2005 07:30 GMT3
When I am braking slowly to a stop, just before coming to a complete
stop, the ABS feels like it is kicking in, and the pedal goes almost

pedal does not seem to "pump up".  Applying the brakes quickly works
