My wife has a 1994 escort lx wagon.Lately the car will stall from lack
of gas (I think). After being towed to a local gas station we use for
repair when its cold or i don't have time or the expertise for the
repair  the car seemed ok. However after a week the car began to stall

My 2000 3.8 Ford Windstar is doing strange things. First, at startup, the
seatbelt alarm sounds even with the passengers strapped and the icon in the
dash that represents the doors of the van, show an open door even with the
doors closed. The ABS light is randomly turning on, but ...

Some time ago, I started a thread on problem starting at or near 32?.
And backyard mechanics told me it was probably my IAC,
Well I removed it, it's not grounded, the resistance between the posts is
10ohms, sounds OK, the voltage that goes to it is 12.5V.

The speedo/mileage counter is dead on my car, a couple of mechanics think it
might need a new gearbox, Someone had a look at the speedo cable got a kink
out of it but still no joy, the latest mechanic I called said he'd need to
check some sort of speed valve?

Did anyone changed the speedometer cable housing assembly for the 1995
Escort LX Wagon? The shop said it would take them 1-2 hours. Is this
difficult to do at home? We do repairs on our cars but never did this
before.

I have taken my truck to the local ford dealer in town to get my
squeaky serpentine belt fixed 4 times!!!!  Any suggestions on how to
get it fixed?  They have replaced the belt 3 times along with the
idler pulley once.  

ok, we have an '84 Bronco (fullsize, 4x4) with a 4-speed, originally had a
351w, now has a '79 302 (w/a bad crank- so it's gotta go)
we also have:  an '86 HO 5.0 from a mustang...
can we put the '86 5.0 in place of the '79 302?

i cant find my starter on my 84 ford bronco can any one help?

Anyone know if it works at all speeds, or cuts off above 20mph like the
Nissan Murano?

I have a 1996 E350 7.3L powerstroke turbo diesel van,
It was running fine then all of a sudden I had no power.
It feels like either there is no turbo boost or possibly something
with fuel delivery.

Is one better than the other in terms of quality and reliability?  This
is for a '90 5.0 stock Mustang.  The Borg one is cheaper than Bosch on
ebay.

I just bought a 1993 Mercury Cougar XR-7 today..... V-6, automatic, power
everything and cruise, leather and cloth seats.......
anything special or unusual I need to know about these cars?

At random my van won't start, it looks as if no gas is going to the
injectors, before crawling under the van, is there somewhere I could look to
troubleshoot, and maybe find why the gas won't come.
But it never appened that the engine stopped, without me stopping it!
