Hello. I have a 1996 Mercury Sable, 65K miles, 24VOHC.
I start the car in the morning. The RPM revs all the way to 3000, then it
waivers between 2000 and 3000.
After a long time, it MIGHT work its way down to normal idle (1000) and then

I have a 1991 Lincoln Towncar 4.6L V8. My problem is when the car is
running, all my lighting blinks. If I turn the engine off the blinking
stops. I thought I lost part of the bridge or had some bad brushes so I
changed the alternator. The problem went away for a few days and then I

What's the best way?  Where is the small hole that needs to be cleared?
Is there a test procedure to make sure it works?  1997 3.0 liter Taurus.

I have lost my manual for my car and need help...I have no signals...I
bought a new flasher but have no idea where to look for the old one...I
have looked under the dash by the fuse box and under the hood...could
someone narrow down my search and tell me where it is?

After Driving for 4 hours, I got a check engine light... The car drove fine
for a while and then began missing.  I continued driving to the next town
but in about 20 minutes everything was fine.  The codes said lean fuel
mixture, but the repair shops couldn't find anything wrong. ...

My sable has 60,000 miles on it and on light acceleration at highway
speeds it has what seems to be a stutter. Also it has a hard downshift
when comming to a stop. The trans fluid is of a very light brown color
insted of pink. This has happened over the past 2 months or so. I'm

I looked at a 2003 Lincoln Town Car Signature tonight with 33,000 miles.
On the sticker in the window the  bottom line under " other options "
was California Emissions PKG.

Since the oil pan is aluminum, is there any certain extra care needed
when re- tightneing the oil pan bolt?  Eventually I will probably
change oil myself only for the convenience of doing it when I want it
done.

I have this Ford taurus 1996 wagon, and lately when i start it up a
clangy, like pots clanging together, comes form the engine. The noise
has gotten louder ove the past days
can anyone help?
