i drained the oil out my car today and it was really thin and smelt of

Looking at another 2000 Windstar, It looks like it's in fair condition
and it's only got 20K on it (apparently).  How do I know if the
mileage is accurate?  (there's no paperwork with the van).  
It would be a great deal if the mileage is accurate.

First and foremost I'm not posting this in the Ford newsgroup in order
to discriminate against any particular make for shortcomings as all
Brands of Autos suffer from the same problems that I'm going to bring

I bought my Explorer this past weekend and there are kid's stickers stuck to
