The brake lines from the master cylinder to the ABS pump are bing replaced
by the dealer on a 96 Ford Crown Vic. The old lines have a short section of
stainless steel braid, and the dealer wants to replace it with brake tubing.
Is this OK to do this or do I run the risk of a line ...

97 Taurus 3.0 Vulcan Flickering Oil Light01 May 2005 18:16 GMT1
I have had the subject engine's oil pressure light flickering on occassion
when coming down to idle in gear (about 700 RPM) after running for a while
on the highway. Figured possibly due to oil contamination from gas or
coolant, and solved once by changing oil to 5W-50 Castrol ...

Wipers stuck 91 Lincoln TC01 May 2005 14:13 GMT2
Having a problem with the Windshield Wipers not returning to the Park
position when the switch is shut off.
They stop in the Straight up position.
Would this be a bad ground-- switch--or the motor itself ?
A solution?01 May 2005 06:24 GMT2
We can hope for this group to become the friendly and informative forum that
it used to be some time ago, while doing nothing and watching one valuable
contributor after another being chased away. Or we can find a couple good
souls who would agree to moderate it. Not an ideal ...
armrest removal01 May 2005 05:58 GMT1
I am trying to remove a the armrest from my motorhome, built on an F450.
It should be the standard Superduty seat.
It is the swiveling type.  I would like to avoid taking the whole seat
apart.
taurus water pump bolt01 May 2005 02:52 GMT1
I've got a '93 taurus.  While replacing the water pump, one of the small 8
mm bolts broke.  I'm looking for an alternative to lifting the engine to get
a drill down there.  One thought I had was just skip the bolt and use an
extra strength permatex... is that a stupid idea?
