have read that when you press the unlock button once it will open just the
driver's door, then a 2nd press opens all the doors, OR you can change this
so that just 1 press of the button opens ALL the doors. ...

I just got this car from a dealer. SEL model.  However the key has no effect
on the rear cargo door. I asked if this meant that someone switched cargo
doors (e.g. due to accident). Dealer says "no way"... and cited some other
case where this happened with a Focus ... implying ...

We have a 1998 Ford Windstar V-6 3.8L engine, with automatic transmission.
The engine will idle at appox... 700 RPM when in drive.  I can come to a
stop when it is cold and it will continue to idle at approx... 700 RPM.
After it warms up the RPM will fluctuate from 700 to 500 RPM ...
