95 Crown Vic steering weirdness09 Jun 2005 05:58 GMT2
OK folks, I'm stumped.  Last week I noticed my steering wheel wasn't
centered.  It has to point at about the 1 o'clock position to go straight
down the road.  I'm a bit of a nut about having the wheel centered so I'm
sure it just began.
97 Taurus Transmission problem09 Jun 2005 02:35 GMT2
My wife just called me and told me the car broke down.  I haven't looked at
it yet, but she says it just "stopped".  It wll go in reverse, but won't go
forward.  Just looking for an opinion... sounds like a bum forward clutch
piston right? I'm looking at a rebuild?  I thought the ...
Ford Explorer very rocky08 Jun 2005 22:07 GMT1
I am experiencing a really bad ’shake’ in my 97 Explorer whenever I go
over a bump or dip in the road...  It rocks pretty bad from right to
left, almost feels like I may roll over...  could it be something with
my struts?
Ford Escort ZX2 Cool version08 Jun 2005 18:59 GMT1
Hello, everyone!
Having contemplated about numerous cars, I finally bought a 1999 Ford
Escort ZX2. I am afraid it is not in perfect condition, but I got it for a
little over $3,000, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

I've got an '88 Ranger, 2.3L  that has developed stalling problems.
The truck will idle in the driveway smooth as a kitten all day long.
When I pull out on to the road, it will begin to lose power and stall
If I pump the gas pedeal (although it is fuel injected) it wil
1989 Ford Tempo won't start after thermostat replacement08 Jun 2005 15:06 GMT1
Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me before my 9 am interview tomorrow.
I had to replace the thermostat and during the operation a spring attached
somewhere near the throttle body was knocked loose. I can't recall where it
Crown vic Vs Town car08 Jun 2005 04:07 GMT1
Does anyone know if the transmission in a 4.6L 1992 Town car and the 4.6L
1993 Crown vic is the same?
Didn't Ford change the tranny around this time with a new advance shifting
technology or something?
FS:  Shelton Class V hitch and HD truck bumper for 80-92 Ford F-series trucks - make offer08 Jun 2005 01:42 GMT7
I have a couple of items from a Ford truck for sale:
I have a very heavy-duty bumper for F-series trucks.  It's not pretty,
and it doesn't have a step built in - but the chrome step bumpers at the
salvage yards are going for at least $100 - so make me an offer.

T-BIRD FRONT END VIBRATION07 Jun 2005 23:14 GMT3
On March 29th, 2005 I had the following front-end work done at a Ford
dealership on my 1994 Thunderbird LX 4.6 V-8 (without ABS):
Remove and replace:  Both connecting spindles and spindle rods.  Both
upper control arms.  Both lower control arms.  Both inner tie rods and
OT:  stretch marks07 Jun 2005 21:37 GMT6
I have these stretch marks on my mid belly the marks run horizontal to
the ground.  They are just right above the area where my rib cage ends.
The marks seem to be caused from every day stuff like bending forward
to work at a desk or computer.
Intake manifold  recall on 96 T-Bird 4.6L???07 Jun 2005 20:26 GMT4
My manifold recently blew and I fixed it myself.  Now I find out there may
have been a recall on it.  I bought the car in 98 with 11K miles on it. I
never received a notice in the mail.  Anyone know if there's anyway I can
get back at least the cost of the part, about $300??  Thanks
