I have an automatic transmission.  The engine will
start but I cann't move the gear shift. It is stuck in Park.  What sort of
problem am I looking
at? Can I fix it at home or do I have to take it

The check engine light comes on every once in a while on my 1994 Ford Taurus
GL with a 3.8L engine. I have been having to add transmission fluid to the
car, I make the levels do not go below the cross-hatched area on the
dipstick.

i have a 1999 ford escort when idling fluctuates between 900 1000 revs a
minute i checked the vaccum hoses for any splits they r ok when  driving
the cars fine

After driving through a storm the other night I lost my rear lights,
cigarette lighter, park lights, Dash board lights, I have checked all the
fuses but all are fine, can anyone tell me where to look next, Thank you in

I  have a 05 LX Sport and was wondering if anyone has had any problems like
the one I will describe below.
At 50 to 60 MPH I have a rumble/vibration that seems to come from the rear
of the car.  I goes away over 65Mph

I am in the process of changing atf and filter on my C6 trans.  I dropped
the pan.  Also opened the torque converter access plate and the screw was
right there, so I drained it.  The shop manual only says a partial change
can be done by dropping pan- I don't know why they don't ...

I have a 93 Ford escort and when I start it up the rpm goes to approx
1000/1500 as it should but then drops below 200 as if it would stall but
then goes back to normal and is fine after.
