I recently changed the oil in my 83 Ford Mustang 5.0, and noticed a significant amount of gasoline mixed in with it. What would be the cause of this problem? and what effects would it have on my engine?

Check to see if there is pulse to the injectors. then post results.

Check your oil flow when it is back together, as your cam is worn for quite possibly a lack of oil. Cylinder leakdown test sounds right. Make sure both valves are closed, then listen for air moving into the exhaust or intake manifold. If both valves are closed and you hear air ...

It sounds like a wire making intermittant contact, most likely in the wiring harness that flexes when you open the door.

Drive slow, take turns slow, no sudden moves, and you'll be O.K., in other words, fix it or park it. You won't notice it broken until you really need it, then you won't be able to control the car.

I bought a '96 Taurus SHO a few months ago and have noticed a bit of play in the steering. The play is there anywhere throughout the rotation. I had the tie rods and other front end parts checked and everything is good.

THANKS EVERYONE...for helping me solve the overheating problem on my 96 Ford Taurus. The user "Backyard Mechanic" posted a link to somebody elses web site that had pics of their problem and it really sent me off in the right direction.
