TIP: Easy Alternator refurbish18 Oct 2005 19:15 GMT4
If your mid-90's Ford has run up it's mileage to about 100 - 150 kmiles
or so, you might want to undertake a quick Saturday project that will
probably save you big bucks -and inconvenience- in the near future.
(MAny 20 year old and newer alternators are built similar to this)
2005 GT Passenger seat too low18 Oct 2005 17:23 GMT1
My wife finds the passenger seat too low to see comfortably over the dash. I
tried telling her she's not *supposed* to see over the dash, but she didn't like
hearing that.
I've put a sheepskin, folded, on the seat, but she's not wild about that either.
2000 Ford Ranger18 Oct 2005 09:54 GMT11
I've just purchased a used 2000 Ford Ranger (3.0 liter, 6 cyl) seemingly in mint
condition throughout.  However, one thing puzzles me.  After crawling around
underneath this vehicle, I did not see a single grease zerk.  Nor were there any
plugs which could be removed and replaced ...

Waiting for my 1979 2.0 petrol Mondeo to arrive.. but have heard some horror
stories about it being an £800 job to replace a clutch. How long do these
things last if you take an average driver...  has anyone had this done? how
long did it last? how much did it cost?

My neighbor has a 1995 Ford Taurus. He asked me to help him put on a pair
of slip on seat covers. The headrest must be removed before the seat cover
will fit over the seat. We spent over 20 minutes trying to remove the
headrest but failed. The owner of the Taurus does NOT have a ...

00 Taurus automatic headlights17 Oct 2005 16:50 GMT3
On our 2000 Ford Taurus, the automatic headlight feature has malfunctioned.
When it gets dark enough for the lights to kick in, the parking lights turn
on, but the headlights do not.  I can turn the headlight switch to the on
position and the headlights will come on.  So, I'm sure ...
