My 1989 Cougar won't hold a charge. I bought a brand new battery, new terminals, and it still won't hold a charge for more than a few hours. Could it be the alternator? How can you tell? TIA!

'94 TBird LX V8, 61K mi., ethylene glycol antifreeze I've never been much for additives, 'tho I throw a jug of fuel injector cleaner in the tank every so often. But I don't keep up with automotive stuff.

I have a tiny pinprick hole in my metal tubular power steering hose. Is there a simple way to plug this hole? Is there a special glue or sealant I can use? To replace the hose looks like a very difficult task. I want an easy and cheap way to fix it.

ok my engine does burn gas and I think its the piston rings but once in a while I hear this DING sound and a plume of smoke comes out of the tail pipe and the engine starts to have idling problems as if it wants to stall and sometimes it does. and this has been happening more often ...

im having a problem wit my 99 Crown Vic. its a police interceptor. has 102,000 miles on it. its been havin this problem since iv had it for a little more than a year. when im driving it starts hestitating and kind of jerking and it feels like its loosing power once i hit 40 mph

Ok, I have a 71, Ford LTD.. I dont know anything about cars, and am going to my dads this weekend, so if I dont respond, thats why.. but my car hit 40 mph going uphill.. and I NEVER hit the gas. It goes by itself, just have to hit the brakes to slow down, even then it tries
