89 E150 Idle problems03 Nov 2005 00:34 GMT3
Hi, I have an 89' Econoline E150 with a 5.0L V8. I took this off the road
sometime back and would start it up every now and then just to let the
engine run. Sometime during this period something happened and now the van
won't keep idle. It'll start and run so long as you give it ...
1994? Grand Marque, sudden very high idle. 02 Nov 2005 14:26 GMT2
Daughter called for help.   Increased idle started suddenly, not
dropping engine speed at stop light.  If left without brake, will
reach about 20 mph.   Stayed same when started after parked overnight.
No help spraying linkage.   When I see it later this week, will check
1995 Crwon Vic Transmission02 Nov 2005 12:47 GMT2
My '95 with 91000 miles started shifting hard into 2nd for two days.
Last night it didn't want to shift into second at all.  It would stay in
1st until I got going faster.  When I then backed off the throttle,  it
would go into a higher gear.
99 Contour Smog02 Nov 2005 02:20 GMT1
All,
A friend of mine has a 99 contour.  He can't pass smog because the
smog machine can't bring up the history or read any of the sensors.  Is
this a computer problem?  Any Ideas?
91 F150 Stalls in Reverse02 Nov 2005 01:50 GMT1
The torque converter clutch seems to be engaging in reverse. The
transmission works fine in Drive. After replacing ALL of the fluid, 15.5
qts, and the filter, the problem still exists.  Has anyone run into this
problem before.
95 fiesta door pin removal01 Nov 2005 23:29 GMT4
Hi all, my car got broken into last night - nothing much stolen but they
have done a number on my passenger door.
Rather than got for the smashed window option, they instead bent the door
out at the B pillar - glass is still intact but the door is goosed.
replace windshield in 05 expedition EB01 Nov 2005 19:43 GMT2
I just got a 2 inch circular rock crack in the lower center of my 5
month old 2005 Expedition EB.  I do not have to replace it but I
am thinking about it.  Is that funky radio antenna on the inside very
difficult to get replaced correctly ?   BTW, I did try to get the
'05 Headlight assembley01 Nov 2005 10:15 GMT4
How do I go about removing the headlight housing assembly on my '0

spending the money for either the dealer/mechanic to fix. Is it eas

Mondeo Dash Lighting01 Nov 2005 03:46 GMT1
I have a 1998 U.K. model mondeo.  The heater control knobs are no longer
illuminated, so I guess that the bulbs have blown.  I have removed the knobs
but cannot find how to replace the bulbs.  Anybody know where they are and
how I can access them also what type size?
1994 Ford Escort LX Compression Problems01 Nov 2005 03:32 GMT3
If the plug is coated with oil (not gas) then you may have a problem with the rinngs on the piston, or the piston itself,  Tale a panel light and look into the cylinder to see the top of the piston.  Turn the engine so that the piston is at the bottom, and you will also be able ...

Fittings to PS rack01 Nov 2005 01:52 GMT4
Installing the pressure and return lines to a new PS rack, I find the
pipes inside the fittings are loose - not can-position loose but
gonna-leak loose.  I've seen some posts that say I need to get new
hoses with new fittings to cure this and some that say replacing the
