i am currently replacing a heater core on a 1997 ford escort lx and i need
to know how to get it out.  do i have to go in through the dash or can i

There's two ODBII software packages that seem comparable in price, AutoTap
and Ease Diagnostics.  Both are PC based.  I'd like some input on both if
possible. I'm just an old backyard mechanic and not a professional.  If
anyone used either of those, I'd appreciate your comments.

Well, I cranked up the old 97 Aerostar the other day and after the engine
caught, for 2-3 seconds I heard a rumbling noise underneath - hard to tell

I had this problem before and I cleaned what I believe to be the contacts,
but when stopped, and ignition off the interior lights will not shut off,
and I disconnected the battery. What door sensor might be the culprit? What
the best way to diagnose the problem?

1996 Ford Aspire.  Will not start, fires good.  Need info on where to look

I looked at changing my headlight bulb to a higher energy bulb. It
looks like the Silver Star will give me what I am looking for - better

I looked at the light assembly and it is not all that easy to change.
