no inside heat,,,,engine heat is ok, have replaced thermostate, flushed, all vent oors work and removed, checked, and replaced blend door actuater. water is serculating good, just not through heater. Also, when in defrost, ac comes on

I was wondering, and yes I know this is a ford specific newsgroup but I thought it might make for some interesting comments because a lot of you seem to know a lot about the inner workings of engines, if making an engine including the pistons and such would increase the gas milage

I will soon be selling a 1940 Ford Deluxe Conv. and would like some idea of it's value. I am told there is a rating system of 1 to 6 for the condition of old cars. is this so? Is there a web site that describes it?
