This afternoon I purchased a used 1998 Sable. I had gotten a Carfax report on it and it gave me a good deal of information. However, can anyone tell me how I could get the information that was on the factory sticker for this vehicle. There are many things I'd like to know

have a 1744 code on my 98 taurus it says it is a tcc solenoid circuit range. my question is is this diffucult to change? And where on the tranny is it located? Thanks for anyhelp on this.

I have replaced the fuel pump, timing belt, mass airflow sensor and repaired the fuel injector wires that were bear and touching for this vehicle. It runs fine and idle in park but after you put it in drive, it shakes and cuts off after 4 to 5 minutes. Any suggestions?

i have a 1997 ford taurus, when i put it in gear.... it dies. it starts and idals just fine. we changed the spark plugs, put on a new fuel filter and a new lock up converter, and it still does it. please help. im at my witts end.

We have a 97 Cougar with the 4.6v8, I have a question, this engine will crank over, but it backfires through the throttle body, even more when starting fluid is added. Could this car have jumped timing? A Friend said it had a blown head gasket.....Could this be true?
