I have a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT.  No power anything (windows, mirrors,
etc...).  The "Door Ajar" light came on today (for the first time) and will
not go out. To my knowledge, there are no senors in the door to detech open

i have a 93 taurus and for some stupid reason the headlights keep
burning out i buy new ones and they just burn up can neone explain this
and how to fix it

The headlights and dash lights dim intermittently. Tonight I monitored
the battery voltage. When the lights are normal I have 14.2 volts and
when they dim it goes as low as 11.8 volts.. It seems to happen more
on rough roads and  blipping the throttle slightly usually brings the

Hi. My remote is an aftermarket, after disconnecting the battery terminals
the ignition won't start. Any way to deactivate until I can get it
fixed/reprogrammed? Thanks. Mark.

Hi All -- I have a 1997 Ford Taurus sedan (USA) with 55,000 miles, and
my headlights won't turn off.  The only way to kill the lights is by
disconnecting the battery.  I brought it to my mechanic and he played
with the fuses and wiring for quite some time, but couldn't solve the

Read the codes and got a 52 on KOEO. Both Haynes and Chilton

Hello all and thanks in advance.  I am trying to change a drive belt on
a 95 mercury mystique and i have got it going the way that it is
suposed to according to the diagram on the engine.  The only thing is i
cant seem to get the belt around the alternator and I cant reach the

I have a 2001 Ford Taurus, About 6 months ago the serpentine belt start
squealing. si I replaced it. Last week the thermostat stuck closed and
the car ran very hot, now the belt is making same noise. My question
is, did the belt get so hot it got soft and is now ruined, or could it

After going through an car wash I parked the car. The temperature was -10
degrees C (about 14 F. about an hour later the left rear vent window
shattered!
I presume this was due to frozen water around the window not alowing the

i was lookin to change my exhaust on my 99 crown vic.  i was wondering
what size the pipes are stock? and what size the inlet and outlet of
muffler should be if i keep the stock pipes. and what the length of

2000 Taurus Wagon Front Bumper Cover - Replace01 Jan 2006 02:05 GMT1
Somebody in my house (I don't want to name names) caused me to have to
replace the front bumper cover on my 2000 Taurus Wagon.  Strangely
enough, I found a matching color OEM replacement at my local junk yard.
How likely is that?
