97 Taurus - cannot shift out from P23 Jan 2006 14:37 GMT8
80K miles on 97 Taurus GL, seems like the lever is stuck in P and doesn't

brake pedal and it solved the problem. However he told us to go to a Ford
dealer so they can fix it permanently.

I'd love to add it.

'97 Taurus sputtering, losing power22 Jan 2006 19:20 GMT4
Hi All -- I have a '97 Taurus sedan, 60,000 miles.  Sometimes, when I
hit the acceleration, the car sputters and has minimal power.  Today,
when I was trying to make it up a steep hill, the car really struggled
to make it up and had an obvious loss of power.  Any ideas what the

of a loud vibration in the engine of the car.  The noise only occurs
when the car is first started and the engine is cold. Generally it will

Consumer Reports Jan '06 Issue Proves My Point on Tire Profiles.
Amazingly some of these utility type vehicles are being fitted with -55 and
-50 tire profiles.  For you out there who don't know what this
