| Emergency Brake Light Keeps Coming On | 16 Jan 2006 18:33 GMT | 2 |
2003 Ford Escape. The emergency brake goes on and off. Sometime if stays on a day or two and then goes off. I don't know if the cold weather has something to do with it. I'm in NW Arkansas. It never has been too cold here. And it was on this morning after being in the garage over ...

| 2000 Taurus won't go into gear. | 16 Jan 2006 18:11 GMT | 4 |
I was driving home after an oil change and my car started making a strange whining noise and it was like it lost all power. I pulled to the side of the road thinking maybe they forgot to put oil back in. But it was filled. Now I had been noticing early in the mornings that my car ...

| 92 Taurus SW Hesitates When Cold | 16 Jan 2006 17:20 GMT | 2 |
The 92 Taurus wagon my father gave me hesitates only when it's cold. Once it's warmed up a bit, the delay goes away. Where do I need to look to fix it?

| 1994 Explorer pinging with smoke | 16 Jan 2006 14:59 GMT | 1 |
I have a 1994 Explorer that until recently has run great. On three separate occasions over the course of the past week, the engine has started "pinging" for a few seconds followed by a large puff of smoke from the exhaust. I have changed the plugs and wires, cleaned the MAF and ...

| 1972 Ford LTD Convertible | 16 Jan 2006 12:48 GMT | 5 |
Just had my car inspected. I live in North Carolina (Mecklenburg County) and we have to have our vehicles inspected annually. The inspector told me that this would be the last year that I would be required to have the car inspected? That after 35 years the car is "red lined"? ...

| Automatic Transmission Drag Kills Stop and Go Gas Mileage | 16 Jan 2006 05:52 GMT | 28 |
On virtually every automatic transmission car, while in stop and go driving, it is necessary for the driver to ride the brake to keep the car stationary or at speeds lower than approximately 10 mph. This is because the transmission couples at idle speeds instead of going

| Pontiac G6 or Ford Fusion V6? | 16 Jan 2006 04:46 GMT | 27 |
Which car is the best deal in the V6 version? I prefer coupes or 4 doors and G6 makes the coupe but the profile of the coupe is abit annoying to me. The Fusion only comes in the 4 door but the body looks better. The engine in the Ford is also more advanced supposedly. The fusion ...

| Quick Fusion Review | 16 Jan 2006 04:04 GMT | 2 |
I took the time yesterday to go drive a Fusion...I'm not *exactly* in the market. I drive a Focus as my commuter car for the gas mileage, and I'd love a slightly larger car, but I love MORE not having a car payment. I drove the Fusion out of curiousity, and in part I was hoping ...

This is a 96 Windstar - on the gear lever the auto overdrive button is very dimly lit. The transmission is in overdrive. Is this normal? It is only noticable at night and I can't really recall if its always been on and I just never noticed it before. Or does this mean ...
