Focus seat belt is locked11 Feb 2006 20:38 GMT2
My daughter has a 2004 Focus. She was in a minor accident and rear
ended a pickup truck at a very low speed. The only damage to her car
was a slightly dented hood, which is not visible unless you are less
than  6 inches away. The problem is that the air bag light is on and

If a car has a bad ball joint, will you be able to 'feel it' through

Ford Still Making Taurus?11 Feb 2006 02:24 GMT5
When I rented a car from Hertz  today in the DC area, I ended up with a
Taurus sedan with only a little over 1K miles on it.  I thought Ford was not
making the Taurus in the 2006 model year.  Are they still making them for
Hertz's rental fleets?

I'm on to the next level of getting my classic 66 Town Landau 428 fixed up.

the original manual and I'm using a mobile mechanic that ...

Cleaning 94 Escort 1.9 Idle Air Control Valve?10 Feb 2006 11:44 GMT15
I'm fairly convinced that the erractic idle/stalling from idle I'm getting
on the subject Escort is due to a balky IAC valve.  Going to pull it and
clean it and hopefully avoid  replacing it.   Whats the best solvent/cleaner
to use?  Carb cleaner seems like the obvious choice.  Any ...
Ford Plant Closures09 Feb 2006 22:59 GMT3
I read an article today in our paper stating Ford will be pay
$100,000.00 each to all of its workers loosing their jobs due to plant
closures. I find this rediculous by a company that can't produce a
quality vehicle and sales are slumping. I owned a Ranger for a couple
97 ford taurus09 Feb 2006 15:39 GMT1

2000 Sable09 Feb 2006 15:33 GMT6
Hi, I have a couple questions regarding my 2000 Sable. First, is there a way
to manually retrieve the ecm codes like other mfgs, or do I have to get a
code reader?
Also, has anyone experienced poor gas milage? The car runs fine, plenty of
