disconnected?

How to remove crankshaft damper bolt?26 Feb 2006 17:11 GMT1
I'm replacing the water pump on 1993 Escort 1.9L engine.  I'm following
the Haynes manual procedure.  I'm to the point of needing to remove the
crankshaft damper.  The manual says to remove the flywheel/driveplate
inspection cover to wedge a large screwdriver into the

Fusion V626 Feb 2006 03:42 GMT4
I'm currently looking for a replacement for my '95 Chrysler and I find
GM and Chrysler just don't have anything I like.  I'm looking for a
slightly smaller car like the Sebring, but not the Sebring as we have
one and it has a few body design aspects I'm not fond of.

'93 Lincoln Continental..26 Feb 2006 00:18 GMT1
I picked this car up a couple of weeks ago with just 36,000 miles on it,
unfortunately the engine check light is coming on intermittently. I
understand that you can't hook up a code scanner on this car, but you can
read codes through the message center on the dash. How do I go ...
1985 Grand Marquis - Oxygen sensor26 Feb 2006 00:10 GMT1
Ok, I'm pretty sure that I've pinpointed the problem with my odd
running and fuel guzzling car: the 21 year old O2 sensor has finally
had it.  Went and bought a new oxygen sensor the other day, thinking
that this will be no big job, as I've replaced plenty of oxygen sensors
Ranger not running right25 Feb 2006 18:45 GMT5
I have a 1988 Ranger XLT with 2.9 V-6. I last drove this truck a week ago
and it was running fine (as always) when I parked it in the garage. Today
when I went to start it up I found that it won't hardly run. When I turn the
key to the "on" position you can hear the pump priming ...
Replacing 97 CV engine, starter questions25 Feb 2006 15:49 GMT3
I am getting ready to replace the 4.6L engine in my 97 CV.  I've been
told I should replace the starter at the same time because they're
such a bitch to replace later, but I'm also being told not to, as the
one on the replacement engine with 70k miles is just as likely to die

92 Explorer front end noise25 Feb 2006 02:06 GMT2
I have recently acquired a 92 Explorer 4x4.  It has already been
converted to manual hubs on the front  - which seems to be the way to
go from what I have read here. Here is my issue:
When the front hubs are locked, I hear a lot of drive train noise.  I
