94 Escort LX Still Stalling at Idle - NOT the IACV, TPS, or O2 Sensor!20 Feb 2006 17:02 GMT3
Well the 94 Escort is still stalling at idle after going into cloesed loop.
Changed the IACV, TP Sensor, and O2 Sensor.  Attempted to take the EGR out
of the picture by diconnecting and plugging both ends of the vacuum line to
its diaphragm, no significant effect.

2000 Windstar power locks20 Feb 2006 15:01 GMT1
Didn't see anything in the archives on this one:
2000 Windstar LX, 75K miles.  I bought it used.  About 20K ago the power
doors locks stopped working - not all at once but 1 or 2 at a time.  When I
hit "unlock" on my remote only one door unlocks.  The only way the power

Middle switch? 1993 Ford Taurus20 Feb 2006 07:52 GMT4
The other night i was driving home in bad weather and went to turn on
my hazard lights.  They did not come on and my lights went dim.......I
heard a buzzing noise in the steering column. I put my car in park and
it would not come out so I thought that maybe it was a fuse etc.

I have a 69 Ford Mustang. The drivers side door is missing along with the motor and hood. Where would I find the VIN # in the cab? The VIN # along the front windshield is also missing.  Does any one have any thoughts???

stuttering on load (acceleration)20 Feb 2006 01:56 GMT4
Got a 66 mustang with a rebuilt 289 and a holley carb.  A few weeks
ago, I experienced a weird problem where, when I accelerated, the car
started to stutter.  I had about 25% the power I should have due to the
stuttering.  It would run smooth when just driving, but whenever I

I'm intending to buy a Ranger and would like people's opinions on which
engine gives the best fuel economy.  I won't be doing any hauling with
it, it will be my daily drive.  I'm looking anywhere from 1995 to 2002
give or take some years.

2000 Windstar tie rods19 Feb 2006 18:09 GMT1
I'm going to replace the tie rods (inner and outer) on my 2000 Windstar.  I
get this creaking noise when I turn and break at slow speeds.  It even makes
a popping sound sometimes.  Based on AAF archives I think I've made the
correct diagnosis.  Actually, after browsing what's ...
