van just stopped while driving. mechanic has had it five weeks and cannot
find the problem. tested an ignition coil replaced and did not start,
changed a few sensors still no luck, he says he cannot get it to spark has
anyone had a similar problem and maybe help me and my mechanic

READ AND FOLLOW the repair manual. I short cutted some checks and it took
me till I redid the checks the RIGHT way to find and fix the problem. I
did find some other things that needed to be fixed, and came out ahead by

I got code 18 erratic IDM input to processer/ SPOUT circuit grouded, and
code 19 falure in EEC internal voltage. whats this saying, the book dosnt

Whenever it gets a little cold, both front doors won't unlock. (I'm using a
remote since the previous owner changed the starter lock but didn't think it
was a good idea to have it coded with the same codes as the door keyholes)
(and no, I don't have the original keys)

My 1997 Taurus has symptoms like a bad battery or alternator, yet I've
replaced them both and still have the problem.  The battery isn't
charging and won't start the car, especially after driving the car for
a while.  A jump will get it back up to where it will start.  Also, if

Have a 1987 Ford Ranger. Fuel injected 2.3L engine.
Problem: Bucks on acceleration. Computer tester indicates idle RPM
problem, code 13 and improper EGR signal. Code 32.

I have a 98 Taurus and everytime I hit the lock button or use the key to
lock the doors (do not have keyless entry) the doors will unlock
themselves 5 - 10 minutes later, was in the garage tonight and heard the

Actually there are two places I hear rattles from on a regular basis.
The first is coming from just behind the driver's seat, near the dome
