Can anyone tell me the correct way to replace the serpentine belt on my 1989 F150 extended cab truck. It has a V8 5.0 engine. I tried to relieve the tension to take the belt off but it did not work.

Hi can anyone give me there thoughts on this I have a 2001 Taurus that has had two sets of wires and just last week had to be towed in to ford and they replaced the #2 wire and plug at a cost of 266.00 dollars this is really getting to me .Any help on this one.

I am in the midst of replacing the timing belt and water pump. While I have good access to the AC compressor and clutch, I wanted to replace the AC clutch because the outer ring is just hanging there loose. Not sure why it separated from the clutch but it rattled horribly under

I need to se the timing on a 1992 Ford Tempo (4 cylinder, 2.3L, automatic transmission), but I cannot find the timing marks or the flywheel! The manual says that it is on the left side of the engine, but I sure can't see it. Could it be hidden under the air-conditioning?
