Seat belt retractor on passenger side of my 2001 Taurus wagon is stuck in midway position between fully extended and fully closed. Retractor clicks but the result is only a 1/2 inch movement of the belt and no more.

Yesterday coming home from work in -10 C, a 26 km drive, I was getting just cold air through the heater. I was watching the temp guage all the way home and as I got near my home about 20 minutes in, the temp guage on my pickup was at the red line.

In wet weather it gives us a break, but when it's dry it consistently ding, ding, dings, any time we are under 20 MPH, including stopped at a light. We've tried without success to figure out which door might have a bad sensor. Any ideas? Summer is coming and I'd really like to ...

We are trying to replace the air conditioning compressor on a 1994 Ford Taurus with a 3.0L engine. We have run into issues removing the power steering and alternator bracket. The Chilton manual gives no help, other than to state the obvious that the compressor can't be removed
