1988 thunderbird 2 door coupe, It starts on starting fluid, rus all day but
will not start the next morning or if it sits for  a few hours. I have
checked spark & fuel( do not know the pressure) I did change the fuel filter.
any ideas?

I have a 89 Mustang  4 cyl automatic ... im almost finnished converting it
to a 4 speed v8 i have all the body work done and the suspension work
finnished. i just need some help on what i need to get the 4 speed in there

Hi.  The crankshaft has self destructed on my 1996 Explorer, so I'm told I
need to replace the engine.  They seem to be in short supply.  Can anyone
tell me what other models and years would have a compatible engine that I
could drop into my Explorer?  I have a 96 XLT with a V6.

I bought this car in November 05 so i never had the opportunity to test
the AC properly. According to the manual the AC in not working in this
car if the outside temperature is below 60 or so, I do not remember.
What I remember is that when I switched the defroster on, I would hear

belt replacement and I was wondering if we need to replace the water
pump as well.  We've already replaced the water pump once as preventive

is parked for just a minute or longer. It is hard to start and hard to

I have a 1992 Tempo with intermittent wipers. My problem is that
occasionally, the wipers will run by themselves even when the switch is
in the off position. Sometimes they run at normal speed and sometimes
they run very slowly.

I recently discovered that the lower radiator cover was badly damaged and
partially hanging down from the car.  (this is now taped up pending a

I have a 1996 Escort Wagon, with 150,000 miles on it.  I took it in for
inspection and got a P1443 code when they did the emissions control test.
The local inspection place did not have a listing for the code. The car runs
great.  Any help would be appreciated.

Went to start our '91 F Festiva this morning and - nothing.  Dead
battery.  I noticed the dome light was very weak, and of course no
headlights.  However before I disconnected the neg. battery cable in
order to connect the battery charger I noticed a definite and steady
