95 Cougar, 4.6 V8, 120,000 miles
My check engine light came on after the car had just been sitting for a
couple of weeks. I got Auto Zone to read the code, which turned out to
be something about the EGR valve. Does this actually mean the valve

i have a 91 sho manual and i look up what fluid type should be in there and
it says mercon fluid witch is atf. but when i open the fill cap it has gear
oil in it .i want to flush it out but want to be sure that i am putting in
the right fluid. please let me no if i should just go ...
