If a hybrid car is laid up for a month on an airport parking lot while
you're travelling overseas on a world tour, will it restart, run normally,
and suffer no permanent battery damage?  In an emergency, can a hybrid be
"jump started?"

As mentioned frequently on here, Ford often uses different size fittings
on brake lines to prevent assembly errors.
In some cases the threaded body is different size; in others, just the
'nut-head'.

I have a 2000 Ford Taurus SE with 111000 miles on it. This evening I
started it at 10:30 for a quick run into town. I immediately noticed a
ticking sound originating under the engine, originating closer to the
front of the engine. This ticking increased in time with an increase in

When I put my Taurus in Park I hear a whining sound.  When I cycle through
the gears: RNDD1D2 nothing happens- it will not move at all.  Is there
anything a backyard mechanic can do, or should I just abandon it?

My windows and door locks quit working one day. I've checked the fuse.
The book talks about a breaker. I found the ones under the hood in the box
with the Big fuses....These are in working order.
Is there another breaker somewhere?
